Helianthemum ‘Ben Fhada’ is a low, spreading evergreen shrublet with trailing stems clad with small, neat, slender grey-green leaves and bearing sunny golden-yellow flowers with orange centres, loved by bees and butterflies, over several weeks from late spring to midsummer. Ideal for sunny, dry rock gardens and gravel gardens and for tumbling down from the tops of walls, following on from earlier spring flowering plants such as Aubrieta and Arabis. H 20 x S 30cm. Easy to grow in any well-drained soil, including chalky ones, in full sun. Bee and butterfly friendly.
